Shoclef Faq

General Questions

Everyone begins as a Buyer/Personal Shopper, but can easily and create Business or Service Provider profiles. We give you the flexibility to switch between all four profiles, depending on your needs.
A person who personally shops for different Buyers while live streaming. They get paid per minute shopping in the live stream by the Buyer. They are responsible for shipping all purchased items to the Buyer.
A Buyer is the primary persona within the Shoclef app, as soon as they sign up.
A Business is one of the personas a Shoclef user can adopt. One can set up a single or multiple Business profiles within Shoclef. Businesses can Go Live within their store, post products in City Deals, and advertise in their Newsfeed.
A person who offers their services on City Deals and Live Shopping. They can connect and interact with users on a one-on-one basis. They choose how much they charge per minute.
There are three ways to make money with Shoclef.

1) Personal Shopper: makes $0.20USD per minute shopping for Buyers, or per person if they Go Live.
2) Businesses can Go Live, or post products in City Deals.
3) Service Providers set their rates per minute.
Users can live stream anywhere in the world using their phone camera (per our Terms & Conditions). They can stream as a Personal Shopper or a Business. Each persona makes money per minute/per user that tunes into their live stream.
Buyers have an option to jump into different live streams around the world.
First you choose what experience you are interested- Business (from a store), Personal Shopper, or Online Service Provider.
Then they select a City and a user, and jump into the stream.
A person who offers their services on City Deals and Live Shopping. They can connect and interact with users on a one-on-one basis. They choose how much they charge per minute.
The newsfeed is located on your profile page, and is the space where you can post updates, images and videos, and comment on users' updates. Users can also post requests for products or services, or promote their own shopping experiences.
Every time a user goes live, Shoclef saved the video, and those show up on Video Channels for people to watch. Users have the option to see current live streams (Live Now), or sort videos by Latest or Popular.
AStep 1: Download the app
Step 2: Register by completing your profile- first and last name, country, city/state/zip code, address, age, email, password. Then hit Submit
Step 3: Fill out your profile page- add an image, cover photo, and short description.
Step 4: Accept the Terms & Conditions.
Step 5: Start shopping!

There is a button on the main menu, on the menus on the Personal Shopper menu, on the Business's profile page, and on the Buyer's profile page. The screens will walk you through the process once you select what persona you will be going live with.
Step 1: Locate the user/Business/Service Provider you would like to review.
Step 2: Click their profile.
Step 3: A menu will show up that includes an option to review the user with a star rating OR by leaving a written review.
Step 4: Pick a star rating or write a review.
Step 5: Click Submit.

Businesses: Better reviews increase your visibility on the application.
Personal Shoppers: Reviews give Buyers an expectation of what it is like to work with you and what to expect.
Buyers: Reviews will help determine if Personal Shoppers accept your requests.
Go to Settings, and then Friend Requests.
Users can exchange text, phone, and video calls, as well as image, video, audio messages. These messages are free, and can be accepted individually or in a group. You can only message wit users you are connected to as Friends in the app.
Where you can view and edit your profile's description.
You can add and update payment methods under Settings and My Account. You can add a credit card, bank card, or PayPal.
Go to Settings, My Account, then Add Money.
You can dispute any transaction. Go to Settings, My Account, Transaction Dispute to see the status of the dispute, the transaction ID, and the actions being taken.
Go to Settings, My Account, and then Claims.
Go to Settings, My Account, and then Update Profile. Here you can update your profile picture, cover image, description, city, state, country, and status.
Go to Settings, My Account, and then Change Password.
Go to Settings, My Account, then Amount Withdraw. These funds can be transferred to a credit card, bank account, or PayPal.
You can create a request to post a product on your profile's Newsfeed.

Your information is very secure in the app. As long as you don't provide other individuals with your username and password, no one can access your account information except you.
Shoclef has laid out rules that Buyers, Businesses, and Service Providers must follow to be allowed to use our application. When the user signs up, they must accept the terms and conditions of the company. Violations of the Shopping Rules will lead to a suspension of the user's account.
You can change currency, language, notifications, Rate Us, or sharing capabilities.

Personal Shoppers

Before you Go Live, don't forget to do the following...
- Double check the amount of money in your Wallet (you cannot make purchases for a Buyer that exceeds what is in your Wallet)
- Accept Terms & Conditions

When you are ready to Go Live
- Press the "Go Online" button
- Enter in a Title and Description. Ex. Store Name; I'm shopping for shoes
- The app will take a screen shot, which will be displayed to users

Viewers can chat with you while you are going live

If you get a request for an item, take a photo and upload the image into "Add Products"
Write a description, size, price, etc.

The Buyer can then add the item to their Shopping Cart
- Budget: The amount of money the Buyer has in their Wallet
- Live Time: Keeps track of the minutes streaming
- Customers Live: The number of people watching
- Earned Money: The amount of money the Personal Shopper has made while being Live
- Add Products: Where the Personal Shopper adds the items they can purchase by the Buyer
Buyer Request: Where the Personal Shopper can see the requests from Buyers to join their live stream. Personal Shoppers have an option to remove people from their stream
Request: Allows Personal Shoppers to post a message in their Newsfeed that they are live, to attract more viewers
Chat+- Allows Buyers to chat with you while you are going live
Mute: Allows you to mute your voice
Go Offline: Disconnects the Personal Shopper from the Live Stream
Download and install the application on your phone or tablet. Fill out your profile, and Go Live!
Personal Shoppers make $0.20/minute USD per watcher on their live stream.
Buyers will use the Chat+ button in the live stream to message you.
Post in your Newsfeed when you plan to Go Live, make connections with other users, and post in your Newsfeed that you are Live during your session.
How an item is shipped is up to the discretion of the Personal Shopper.

Shipping costs are automatically included in the Buyer's purchase. We are looking into partnering with more shipping companies for our users' convenience.
Go to Settings, the My Account, then Invoices to see month to month invoices of the products and services sent and received.

Buyers

Press the Chat+ button in the live stream.
Go to the Live Channels, select a City, and then request entrance into a live stream.
You select a shopper when you go to the Live Shopping Channels, after you have selected the city you would like to shop in. You will then see a list of the available shoppers and what they are looking for in that session.
When you enter the Live Shopping Channel, you will be asked what City you would like to see. Then a list of Personal Shoppers who are live will appear, and you select one.
We urge Buyers to explore products and Personal Shoppers live streams before committing to a purchase. Buyers have access to shops, City Deals, and Personal Shoppers from all around the world, so plenty of room to compare!
Visit City Deals, and search through Product and Service categories. You can also engage a Personal Shopper to shop for you live.
Go to Settings, My Account, and then Expenses. You can view your transactions by month- minutes spent, products purchased, commission paid, shipping costs, paid tips, and profits.
Go to Settings, My Account, then Available Credit. Shows you how much is in your Wallet and gives you the option to add more money.
Purchases: Go to Settings, My Account, and then My Purchases. You will see every product or service that you have purchased, with the date, description, price, and the user who sold/provided the product/service.

Pending Purchases: Go to Settings, My Account, Pending Purchases. You will see every product you purchased in City Deals or through a Personal Shopper. There will be a tracking number, status, and estimated arrival date.
All sales are final.
You must have money in your Shoclef Wallet to make a purchase during a live stream.

For purchases in City Deals, you can pay through the Wallet, credit card/bank account, or PayPal.

Business

Go to Settings, and the Add Business. The click on Add Business and complete your business profile by inputting the brand name, category, subcategory, description, country, state, city, and zip code. Lastly, add a profile image and a cover photo.
Visit Settings, then Add Business. Click on the active Business you would like to add products to, which will take you to a screen called Product Design. There you add Products. Enter in the product name, category, subcategory, brand name, price, quantity, description. The upload images from your phone, and click post. The product will now be visible on City Deals and on your Newsfeed.
Upload the promotions and deals in the Add Business section of Settings, which will post them to City Deals and your Newsfeed. You can also post updates directly to your Newsfeed, or mention the deals when your Business goes Live.
Post your products and promotions to City Deals in the Add Business section of Settings.
Go to Settings, My Account, and then Invoices. You can see monthly invoices of the products you have sent.
Shoclef charges 20% of the product price, 20% off in-person services, and 20% of online services (when they Go Live).

Service Providers

Go to Settings, and the Add Services. The choose if you Service is online or in-person. Online services will ask for a per minute rate. In-person services can be set for a flat or hourly rate.

If you choose an online service, complete your profile by putting in a title, category, subcategory, description, start and end time, profile and cover image, and then rate per minute.

If you choose an in-person service, complete your profile by adding a title, a category, a subcategory, description, start and end time, fixed or hourly rate, cover and profile image. Then set your location.
Go to Settings, and the Add Services. The choose if you Service is online or in-person. Online services will ask for a per minute rate. In-person services can be set for a flat or hourly rate.

If you choose an online service, complete your profile by putting in a title, category, subcategory, description, start and end time, profile and cover image, and then rate per minute.

If you choose an in-person service, complete your profile by adding a title, a category, a subcategory, description, start and end time, fixed or hourly rate, cover and profile image. Then set your location.

You can choose to deactivate your services, edit, or delete.
Posting Services will add them to City Deals and your Newsfeed, but you can do increased promotion by posting updates in your Newsfeed.

Go to Settings, My Account, and then Invoices. You can see monthly invoices of the products you have sent.
